Why do you think that?

He's successful in business and full of great ideas. What's wrong?

Please explain further. i really don't understand why he would be full of shit.

what does it matter what people on here think? most people on here couldn't rent a Lambo for a day

even if Tai is fake look at that business model

his niche is hungry entrepreneurs

he has a youtube channel which funnels in viewers and he constantly mentions his program

people like the videos, they look up the program

its like 5 or 6 bucks

people buy into that

he delivers value for 30-40 some days

you get emails to live talks where he pitches his private mentoring

he hints at his private mentoring in the videos

the next sell is the business MBA which is like 5k or 10k

and once you are there i'm sure hes gonna repeat the cycle

even if Tai never did a single thing before this business he did an outstanding job with this funnel and just learning how he does it was worth the weight in gold

I'd like to quote page 117 on TMF

I’ve never bought a product on late night television, because I’m on the same
team. As a producer, I see the infomercials for what they are: producers (the minority)
serving the consumer (the majority). The “act nows,” the “but wait, there’s
more!” the “free bonuses”—these are marketing weapons in a producer’s arsenal.
I watch infomercials not to buy, but to see what the pros are doing.

Like Aristotle says "it is the mark of an intelligent mind to be able to entertain an idea without accepting it"

Hang out with enough entrepreneurs in the real world and you'll find that the ones who actually have a legit biz will have no problem openly discussing it. I gave away my entire biz at the last meetup, all the way down to what materials to use for the products.

Tai is just vague as hell. Anyone can play the penis contest and claim they have a 12-incher. I also wish the guy wouldn't take 20 minutes to make a point that could've been shortened down to literally 1 minute. Holy shnykies Batman, not the highest leverage of my time.

Interesting, I never heard of the man.

And based on the other comments, I'll have to come to this conclusion: TL;DW.

Because we can see through his facade.

Well the BS meter is set pretty high here. Between teens trading their way to $72M and the Russian immigrant who became a millionaire over-leveraging RE and eating roadkill off Interstate 10 to save a few pennies, yea, we got BS covered. :D

I'm not a big fan of him but I can't speak against what he's saying. He's living proof of it too.

Agreed. Never heard of him before, but after watching this video, I must say... I didn't like the way he delivered the content, but the content was really really good.

I feel like a fool ... I'm watching his 67 steps when it was 2$. There is a lot of good lesson here and there but yeah he take sometime way to much time telling the same story over and over. I purchased the Mini-MBA Yellow Belt for 160$... He cover the lesson behind the How-to of starting a business... You need to pay a higher fee I think to crack the code ...

But the thing that I keep with me and that helped me is reading more book. School started, reading less personal book but last week I remember that my mind was rushing from one idea to another from reading book often, but I always stop at the same steps : How do I do that ? , How do I start this? , How should I go with it ? Is this my path ?

What is your thought on Ramit Sethi ? http://www.iwillteachyoutoberich.co...principle-from-4-95-to-15000-in-a-single-day/

Yeah, I agree with his point too, but the guy just is soo shady to me.

Reading a book a day seems like an awful lot of time spent on action faking.

Since most business books only have 1 main idea and ramble on about it for hundreds of pages, I'm thinking about buying a subscription to a book summary service and reading 1 summary a day. Then maybe read the full book if I feel the idea from the book can add value to my business.

http://www.getabstract.com/en/

They offer PDFs and even condensed podcasts and claim you can learn about the main ideas of a book in 10minutes.

Anybody have experience with those summaries or have recommendations?

Very interesting idea. A book summery service.

GetAbstract is decent.
I prefer Blinkist as they seem to be better summaries in a voice I connect with.
AudioTech.com was a client for a while and their summaries are more in-depth, but it defeats the purpose for my efforts when a summary is 45 minutes long.

I like summaries only if they can summarize the true value of a book, for example in TMF blinkist didn't mention CENTS which was the most important thing by far for entrepreneurs.
