I made this thread for anyone who is a slow reader, has little time to read, or is simply intimidated by the length or size of a book.

So let's get into it, for the past year, or so it usually took me 1-2 weeks to finish a book. Fortunately, that all changed yesterday when I finished a book in a single day! I encountered some entrepreneur on YouTube named Tai Lopez and he is where I gained some tips from.

Instead of me explaining, you can just watch this video

How To Read A Book In 10 Minutes:

Then I found another video that help me out as well...
Learn To Speed Read: Read 300% Faster in 15 Minut…:

This seem to help me out tremendously, and I hope it helps you guys out as well.

P.s. check out Tai Lopez's YouTube Channel, it's filled with a lot of good stuff.

I underline, circle, highlight, etc when I'm reading; it helps me retain info.

I just enrolled in a speed reading course and I'm already WAY faster.

Re: the retaining informaion concern, that was a concern of mine as well but it's a lot easier than I thought it would be. Right now I'm only at 500wpm on a good day, but apparently 1000wpm isn't unheard of after a month or so of practice.

You might like the chrome plugin called "Spreed." It reads a webpage for you by giving you a focal point and flashing the words at you, eliminating the need to move your eyes. I thought I wouldn't be able to understand a word, but I read a few Seth Godin blog entries to test it and it worked great!
