I wish I could join you! Grew up in Texas and used to make two ski trips a year to Colorado. Ben to Crested Butte many times. Enjoy the slopes.

It's my favorite place to go in the summer. I've been there almost every summer since 2001. I almost bought a vacation home there a month ago but decided against it because it did not make financial sense.

There is a little sushi restaurant called low bar I think. Best damn fries I've ever eaten.

I'm more of a snowboarder and I really like the Paridise Bowl in the back.

Yeah, the COL here is crazy. I feel like you overpay for what you get.

Yeah you can't get any decent sfh's for less than $750k. Problem is they only get 90 rental nights a year. And I take up 30 of those nights during prime summer season so it's just a massive cash suck owning there.

I'm not going to be attending the meetup, but I've always stayed at The Elevation. That lodge one went up right next door to the elevation and it seems nicer.

In a house off Gothic road in Mt. CB. Was listed but not sold in 2010 for $550K....and built in the 70s. Nice house though. Where were you looking?

Snowboarding, eh? I've seen people really shredding on the boards here. It looks like surfing. Pretty cool.

Had Ryce Asian Bistro. Not bad food for being in a town of 1500 or so at 9,000 feet elevation.

I don't think that Paradise Bowl is open yet. I finally hit black diamond this week (first time ever) so perhaps by the next time I come I can try some of the double blacks that CB is famous for.

I was looking at a home in Mt Crested Butte on Crystal, listed at $560k. Last year I stayed in the town of CB right next to the gas station.

I ate at Teocalli Tamale and Secret Stash most of the time.

Not difficult at all. In fact, I'm finding that I really don't need to be in AZ that often, if at all.
