Complimenti!

[Pain the butt mode ON]
However I don't like the title and subtitle. "Highway to richness" is too different in meaning than "Fastlane", and the verb "Cracca" ain't that good either

No, I sell international translation and publishing licenses to those interested in bringing to their market.

I'm glad I asked, it's the obvious path once you've read - or rather written ;-) - TMFL.

Great to see this!

What's the reason for using a different cover for each translation? I would assume it would be a good idea to have a universal cover, that way people can easily recognize the book when they see it somewhere.

The can if they'd like. However each culture is different and many of the publishers choose to go their own route.

Sold out and currently being reprinted! Almost 200 people waiting for it to be available again!

How beautiful is to see my compatriots empty the shelves!

Funny thing is I joined this forum over a year ago because I saw this book advertised on a private group by the guy that published the book in Italy..but it took so much time for it that I ended buying an english copy.
I think that this book could and should be a nice wake up call for many Italians as they are so used to the extreme trash that gets rehashed from year to year in their book stores.

Really? Where did you hear that? Mind you, I don't speak Italian so if it was in my FB newsfeed I must have not read it. I think the initial print run was 1,500.

Following the link you posted in this thread. "Ilgiardinodeilibri". They say it will be available in ten days.

Hi, i'm the Italian producer of "TMFL" aka Autostrada per la Ricchezza.

I agree with the comment that "Autostrada per la ricchezza" is not a direct "translation" but an adaptation to make the concept easier for Italian speaking people.

I can guarantee that's no bullshit nor a "creative" touch. It's just that "La corsia veloce dei milionari" in italian would have been awful.

More than that, in Italy we have small roads, and there's no such a thing as a "fastlane" that can easily be understood by an italian.

So, Autostrada /Highway is the closest "concept" possible for "Fastlane".

Another thing: in italian culture most of the population is catholic, not Protestant or Calvinist.

In Italy, when you say "Millionaire", you are sayin' a "bad" word. In Italy, Berlusconi is a "Millionaire" and to be rich is not perceived naturally as a "good thing"

We don't have the "myth" about the Self made millionaire to be proud about as in american culture.

So, we needed to apply a little adaptation to the concept with "Ricchezza/wealth" to be more close to italian "taste" about the subject.

The Title is a little "Troian Horse" made by professional copywriters, just to sell better the book in our country. And the results are speaking for themselves.

No offense intended to the beautiful original title "The millionaire Fastlane ". It just doesn't translate well as it is.

Big news asap ;)

Thank you all for the warm support and thanks to MJ for the beautiful book and the friendship and trust that led to the italian publishing of the book.
