I have no idea - I just think it's funny that headlines for sites like Buzzfeed are so cookie cutter that they can literally be randomly generated.

I'm sure it's amazing for getting people to click on your article. I personally despise them, but I still get suckered into clicking 'em at least once a week.

I wonder if this is like the issue with the popups, where we all hate them but they work. I daresay Buzzfeed is 10x+ the revenue of any business run by anyone on here, and clickbait and IP theft are the cornerstones of that company.

I think this can help when you're writing your own blog posts for your business. Try to think what's good about these titles and emulate it with your own topics. As long as the content delivers what the title says, you're good to go.
