Have any of you ever done or heard of convincing a start up or business in another country that received a couple million in funding to expand to your country where you could run it and be rewarded salary/equity? For example, the SAAS industry where the innovative company in mind would be pressured to expand quickly due to increased future competition in your country's market.
Of course, you have to bring something to the table such as skills, experience, platform, etc.
How does this normally work in terms of compensation? Any of you have experience in doing this?
