Hi guys,
I`m looking for a good fastlane business to start.
Can you give me some fastlane ideas ?
I`m very good at sales but I can`t decide what kind of business should I come in. I live in Poland ( East Europe ) now.

Well, as a beginner I think you should know that whatever it is you decide to do, you are going to be earning more experience then you are cash, at least at the start.

I don't think it matters much what you decide to start with, but I would recommend not sinking any more then 1000USD into it, that way you can earn a good amount of experience and maybe figure out what industries you are interested in without spending too much money.

personally, I'd recommend either some kind of E-commerce site, or the traditional blog/E-mail marketing/ niche site area.

But hey, I've just recently started my first businesses too, so study around and find some veterans to learn from.

oh yeah, and make sure to read The millionaire fastlane , and as many other books similar to it as you can, within a reasonable time/money cost.

Simply go to twitter.com/search, and search for:

"I hate"
"I wish there was"
"I need"
"Shut up take money"
"They should"
"Why isnt there a"
"There should be"
And other similar statements.

Five minutes of searching gave me this:

Wow, you succeeded way more than me when I tried this once...then again I'm not the best at research. Haha.
Then again maybe you should hire this person to find an idea for you. ;)

You will find plenty of ideas from your daily experiences.

For example...

We started an ecommerce store after struggling to find a good selection of a certain type of product anywhere else.

We get a lot of couriers dropping packages off and almost all of them complain about the electronic devices used for signing. (Takes them about 30 seconds to go through all the menus and enter all the details before I can actually sign.) All say the old paper system was better.

There's a certain sun tan product a lot of my friends buy but you can't find anywhere in Aus. They end up paying 2x retail to get it shipped from overseas. Or hassle friends who travel to bring some back.

A friend had an idea for an app based on a board game her and her sister play all the time.

You've just got to have your idea antenna up ;)

Now pick something and make it happen.

Now let me add on to this. How can you turn one of these ideas into a business?

Our example:

b725a1d197102737e3c80251a307234a.png

Market research:

Need?- Yes. A lot of smartphone owners use cases.

Entry?- Between product creation, marketing, and other expenses. It becomes evident that not just anybody can make a quality phone case easily.

Control?- You own the company and can distribute these cases on your own.

Scale/Magnitude?- 1.75 Billion smartphone users in the world and growing rapidly, most of which use cases and upgrade every few years. A quick search on Amazon shows best selling versions of the Otterbox selling for $40.

Time?- This can be automated through employees and computers.

Validation?- Yes. Examples are : Otterbox, LifeProof, etc.

How can you make the above products better?

•Exploit product weakness' - bad amazon reviews, internet complaints, etc.

•A better guarantee - Your selling point is protection against damage, after all.

•Better marketing - This is a big one, especially for this product. A few things that come to mind:

- Otterbox is a bad name for branding. The first time I heard someone brag about their Otterbox(Yet another plus about this niche), I couldn't tell if they we're saying alterbox or otherbox. It didn't turn out to be either. Create a brand that people brag to their friends about owning and is easy to remember.

- Market your sales funnel through different channels. Facebook is golden for this niche. Just target mobile users browsing with the specific phone your case is for, and split test demographic variables like crazy. This can be applied to many other mobile ad networks with similar targeting features. Once you have a funnel where for every X you spend in advertising results in Y in profit, and X<Y, Scale it up!

- Make your product attractive to distributors. Mall kiosks, eCommerce sites, Phone carrier stores, etc. Make it so that they want to move your product more than others.

•Create cases for phones that haven't been touched by the above companies. There are lots of phone models that have been ignored by the above companies.

There are tons of other ways you can improve on these products, these are only a few that came to mind.

How can you get started?

Take on each problem one at a time. Google is your best friend.
Research how to make it
Get it made
Market it
Incorporate
Focus on the important things
And then...

Hope this was useful.
-Matt

A lot of the things I see are already solved, Twitter users are just too lazy to Google them. For example, the one thing I keep seeing OVER AND OVER again is people wanting certain emoji's. My first thought? Make an app for creating custom emoji's. A quick google search brings up two apps that already do that quite well and have thousands of reviews. Why aren't they getting through to the Twitter market? Sounds like the two apps I found from 10 seconds of googling need to run better Twitter campaigns. Or then again, maybe (and I'm starting to like this theory better) people are just too lazy to download the custom emoji creator app and do it themselves. You could make an emoji app that listens very closely to social networks and releases emoji's in need

Just a few I've collected from Matt's method:

I wish there was a link on every post on pinterest where you can just buy it right there. ??

i wish there was a master list of every interview 5sos have done in order of date

i wish there was someone i could talk to that would actually listen to me..

I wish there was a pen that could copy and paste.

There needs to be a more effective and cohesive response to victims of [HASHTAG]#domesticviolence[/HASHTAG] - the system is too often failing victims

There needs to be a size in between small and medium

I wish there was an app to see how packed the gym is at certain times

They should make a matchmaking site for single socks.

they should make lighters in pastel colors

I wonder how many groups of friend have said "Honestly guys, they should make a reality show about us, people would love it."

Why aren't they getting through to the Twitter market?

I know a few guys couple of years ago who were making thousands of dollars each month promoting problem-solving affiliate products directly to Twitter users who complained about something.

e.g. Someone tweets about wanting an emoji and they would message/tag them in a post with an affiliate link to the software to do it.

As for why solutions don't get through to the Twitter market... most people would rather complain about their problems than actively seek solutions.

Ever watch the show embarrassing bodies? People on there breaking down in tears talking about how the massive wart they've had on their face for the past 30 years has destroyed their life etc... they finally go see a doctor and he's like "yeah we can cut that off in 5 seconds, why did you wait so long to come in?".
