I have a paypal account but no credit or debit card. Can I open an ebay seller's account? I googled this question but found very contradictory answers. This is why I post it here. Hope for your help guys.

EBAY is going to want some method to charge you their fees each month. You could hook your EBAY account up with your paypal account and the fees would be automatically withdrawn. I don't think you would be required to have a credit card.

But, why not just open an EBAY account and see how far you can go with it until you reach an obstacle? Then, figure out how to overcome the obstacle.

Get busy.

Not logical to me.

You have nothing going on now. What have you got to lose? If they ban you, then create a new email address and name and start over.

Also, don't limit yourself to one sales channel. Amazon, your own website, others. You have to get aggressive and make things happen.

Yes, I am selling on EBAY and Amazon as well.

YES. So long as there are sufficient funds in your PayPal to pay your eBay fees you are good to go.

Note that you may have problems withdrawing funds from your PayPal if you don't have it hooked up with a credit/debit and/or your bank account. At least that's how it used to go. But last I heard you could still verify paypal accts with a vanilla visa card.

Also- I can't make you a guarantee, but I can pretty confidently say... eBay doesn't do jack shit about that stuff. I was selling crap on their when I was 14 years old and had no card. I've since verified and added my credit and debit cards and nothing has ever made them bat an eye. Just make sure you pay your monthly seller fees on time and they'll never bother you.

Amazon is not a good idea for vintage collectibles. Who said I only used 1 sale channel? I have been selling items on my own website since 2006. Also I make sales on facebook and some forums as well.
My good friend sells my items in his ebay store, but I'd like to open my own account there.

What are the steps of a sale you do on ebay and amazon etc

1.find a product/research
2.Buy it cheap
3.List it for more
4.sell it
5.package it
6.post it.

Is this what it is? Or will it take a lot of time researching and stuff otherwise you could just take a job i guess.
Oh and what are the costs of all like fees etc.
Its so confusing if you want to learn it all i don't want to lose my money if i am doing this i only got 200 euro's and i don't work if i lose my money i gotta find a job -_-

Oh it is a question my question basicly is:
1. Can you fully explain the procces of buying and selling something on ebay/amazon etc for profit
2. Is 200 euro's enough to do this or do i need some more money

I dont have anything to sell nor do i have any sales experience whatsoever thx for your help.

Speed + for you :)

DUDE. Just checked my inbox you sent me a PM asking this on June 16th. It's 2 months later and you're asking the same question. You still haven't taken action?

If you want security, go join the slowlane. You have to be willing to take some risks if you want to make money in the fastlane.

Besides, 200 euros is nothing. Seriously, a few months ago I had no money, crashed a car, and suddenly was -$1900 in debt. And I still started doing this.

And my story is NOTHING if you read "Choose Yourself" or, obviously, TMF . In both cases it was sink or swim, do or die, make money or live on the streets, however you want to put it. MJ and James Altucher both had a lot less than 200 euros to their name, and they both have amazing "comeback" stories.

I don't agree with everything in "Think and Grow Rich" but I know for sure Hill was right when he said you can't get something for nothing. You want the riches but don't want to risk a very very small amount of money. And... dude... you're asking the same questions you PM'ed me 2 months ago. At some point you just need to say "F*ck it, let's go".

Oh it is a question my question basicly is:
1. Can you fully explain the procces of buying and selling something on ebay/amazon etc for profit
2. Is 200 euro's enough to do this or do i need some more money

You already explained the process in your previous post. You know what to do.

Go buy something really cheap. Sell it for more. It doesn't get any simpler.

Of course 200 euros is enough. 1 euro would be enough.

No shit you don't have any sales experience. You haven't taken action. I gotta know... What have you been doing the in the 2 months since you PM'ed me? I read "eBay for Dummies" in like 2 days...

I pick up items from garage sales in my home town and then re-sell them on my e-store, my friend's ebay store. It cost me about 200 bucks to start my small online business.
This is a short article about amazon and ebay for a newbie Ecommerce Dropship Tips: Should You Sell on eBay or Amazon?

I can certainly understand not wanting to connect your PayPal acct to your Ebay acct, but yeah you will definitely need to show some means to pay your fees.

While this may seem like the logical solution, I haven't seen it mentioned - Why not just get a prepaid aster Master Card or Visa? You don't have to use that card when you get that bill, it's just something to have on file.

Most banks in my country are sucks. Paypal doesn't work here. All ukrainian ebay sellers use midle-men and broker's firms to sell on ebay. My USA's friend allows me to use his paypal account. But i cannot ask for his credit card.

that would be asking too much for such but he can certainly go down to just about any store ( target, wal mart, even most grocery stores) and pick up a prepaid card and send it to you.

OR...

I wonder if you can go on amazon in your country and just buy one yourself?

No thats just common sense maybe if you buy it in bulk you wil make profit but if you ship one little cheap thing the shipping cost will be higher than your whole product and profit.

Usually a buyer pays the shipping cost. Really, you aren't still in the "theme".

You will get a lot more sales if you offer free shipping.
It depends on items which I sell. For example, my item only costs 5 bucks and its shipping is 5 bucks too. Do you think nobody will buy it? If you do, you are wrong. Now, say, I'm selling item for 50 bucks and its shipping is 5 bucks. Of course, i offer free shipping because i can cover its shipping from my profit. Some shoppers buy a few items just to get free shipping. Again, it depends on what you sell.

P.S. I've had a couple of the repeat customers from your beautiful country.

Not necessarily.

I have dropped the price of some of my products on ebay and added a shipping charge which compensates the price drop. But I'm getting more sales now than I was getting with free shipping.

Also I send everything out by regular mail. I dont know what you might even think of selling if you ever dare to. But I usually get away with putting 1 or 2 postage stamps on it. So it most likely wont kill your profit margin. And almost all of the items I ship arrive at their destination.

Good sharing. I'd like to be a hot dog man in the Big apple. hahaha.

There is some guy on youtube who was (and maybe still is) documenting how he was setting up his own food vending chain in a big city. I think he was doing very well.

This post is both offensive and laughable.

For someone that has never taken action you sure are good at putting down what I (and many others) do to make money.

Nope. This is a huge misconception. Tons of people don't even look at the shipping cost until it's time to pay (after they've already won the auction/clicked Buy It Now.)

You are actualy right i'm sorry for the people i offended and i will not ask for help anymore i will find it out myself now.
There is enough information on the internet and the forum.
I analysed myself and once i wanted to start something i unconsiously did something else like watching stupid youtube videos and once i go to sleep i feel bad because i wasted another day of my life now everyday a make a day plan (things i need to do)
And i threw all my motivational and self help shit away and made a list of only important things.

I will now make my diet plan for fitness to get some muscle (my personal goal since i am skinny) then i am gonna start with ebay.
I will not bother you anymore maybe once or twice a question but thats it.
