I remember when I was younger I had to read an autobiography/biography about a certain man for one of my history classes. I became truly inspired by what he did, and what he went through to get what he wanted. Anyone had any really good reads in the past that they would recommend?

Hi,
I just came across ur thread today as I just joined today.
I do have a very good book if you are into trading (stocks, forex, etc)
It is based on a true life person but there is some fiction in the book as well.
It is called "Ugly Americans"- I cannot remember the author but heard that it will be
made into a movie soon.
Very exciting read.

I just finished reading a real good book by Jon Huntsman called "Winners Never Cheat"...
Highly recommend it.

Just finished reading "The World is Flat" by Tom Friedman, today!
Its a must read of over 500 pages, it will penetrate my to 20 book list.
M Scott Peck is still #1 - The "Road"
I am currently reading "How to Talk to Anyone" by Leil Lowndes. It's a fabulous book that gives pointers on how to network more effectively. All these "tricks" are so easy (Which means easy to forget too, right?) I highly recommend it.
I also just finished "Swim with the Sharks without being Eaten Alive." Again, a book I am raving about. You can see my comments on my blog.
An old favorite of mine is "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson. Again, here's a book with easy to do, easy not to do tips and suggestions.
To all of you, let me know what you thought of these books if you have read them. I would enjoy a dialog!
