Wanna Runum?

I've been a member of this forum since about the second week of its inception. Like many here, I was a member at RD forum and needed some information. I read the RDPD book and the next logical progression was to find the forum. The level of excess noise there was overwhelming. I knew I needed some pieces of my puzzle, I knew tHe questions to ask, but I couldn't find the right people to ask. I did finally get my answers on that forum and progressed with that information but it was still frustrating. I saw a link to this new forum and moved over here.

Everyone here was nice. They seemed to know each other but didn't treat me as an outsider. In February I took a risk and met some of these guys face to face in Phoenix. Again, they treated me well. I was expecting a lot of one upsmanship from a bunch of overinflated egos. These guys and gals were and are regular people. I was impressed. Several of the original members are not around any more , some check in occasionally , an some are still here and contributing.

Out of that first meeting I will say I have made many positive changes in my life. The last few years have changed things for me forever. I talk to many of these guys every day. I look forward to introducing the Ms. to them this coming February. (Sorry Bob, you'll have to try on all the negligee without me being your lookout ).

Anyway, I want to encourage some of you newbies to take a chance. Come on out and meet these guys. If you come with the right attitude it will have a lasting effect on your life. I look forward to putting some faces to names again this year.
