It has been a fun run and I have learned many things through mistakes. Although I have made a couple hundred of dollars, I find the business is not sustainable since there is no REAL NEED.
REAL NEED is when people visit your website, fanpage or whatever material, they want to give you a call and ask for the product. If you find yourself chasing customers and trying very hard to convince them to buy from you and they don't give a damm, there's no real NEED!
So how to find
Well, it's been a fascinating several months. This forum and competition has driven me to try things I'd never done before, and I'm grateful for the growth.
When I started the competition I was a little hesitant because my business wasn't cutting edge internet wizardry. I didn't think I'd stand any chance at winning, but I figured I owed it to myself to at least give it a run.
I definitely suffered from Tekel syndrome. I thought I had the sure-fire product in January
It's back to the Weather Oasis branding exercise. I've added cooling spray fans to the mix and selling them on eBay and people seem to like them.
The big news is I've got my MOQ cooling towl order unloading from the ship in Long Beach as I type. I should have a bunch of boxes in my garage within a week! I already have an advance shipment in my hands so I can get photos done and get these on Amazon FBA. It's really cool seeing branded product with factory made labeling just waiting

While exploring these forums, we found our clear vision and joined the Millionaire Fastlane Forum Business Start-Up Competition.
What we intended when we joined
Our original vision was
I have the site 99% done and it is online. Running into some issues migrating the data over however. Was up until 3AM last night and woke up at 8 this morning to try to get it working. No go.
I also have 4 pieces of art created but need another 4-8 to fill out the site.
Last steps are setting up the credit credit processor and some finishing touches on the site.
I will post my longer June Update tonight.
