Well, the beginning of the new year has come and gone, and for our part, we have accomplished nothing more than winding ourselves up in a web of projects that now must be unwound. We started the year off excited. In the first week we threw together a quick web tool that would allow us to easily package and distribute our web apps in a self extracting installer file. We decided to commercialize it, so we purchased a domain name, threw together a website... and just as we were about to alpha launch,
January has been a challenging month, I've come to the conclusion that my website idea does not have as big of an audience as I originally thought. When I was researching the idea I did a google keyword search and came up with 10,000 monthly searches for the main keyword to my website. This month I went back and ran the keyword search again to look for similar keywords and realized that the exact match keyword search only produces 1,000 monthly searches, not sure what happened but my guess is that
Well this is 25 minutes late here on the east coast but hopefully we can let this slide.
This month kind of sucked, had 2 wisdom teeth removed 2 separate times so I lost some days feeling sick and in pain. Somewhat of a lame excuse for being less productive than I would have liked.
I will make this post about my side business that is more my primary focus. So, I started out originally working on a sports themed website but I have slowly moved that to the back burner in
Soooo, while I'm still broke as a joke and sick, the good-ish news is that:
1. I'm working a deal that should remedy my brokeness by the middle of March.
2. Turns out I'm not "sick" sick, just mildly dehydrated. And while I'm still suffering the effects of that, it's nothing A LOT of water can't cure with some time.
