My vehicle for this competition is a online product marketplace (real original right?) for products surrounding a specific niche. Before investing a bunch of money that I don't have into the business, and building a resource, then bringing people to it and conforming them to my platform, I have a different plan.

What I intend to do is drive traffic to a simple signup form page for about 2 weeks and gather a base pool of initial members. From there I intend to test my idea via email to this test group, and actually see what it is they would like to see in a resource/platform. Once the concept is proven and people have told me what they want, I intend to build it for them, then open it up to the rest of the world.

In this manner, I plan to respond to what the market wants as opposed to building something and conforming people to it.

So for this week and next, my challenge is to drive traffic to my landing page (if you want to check it out or help promote, be my guest - www.leanwarrior.com). I intend to have build a list of roughly 1000 members to have a minimum viable testing pool.

I'll post up a report once I reach the 1000 and/or reach the 17th. Whichever comes first. Party on and best of luck to the other business builders!!
