I am planning on bringing a product to the US. need advice

hello there, I am brand new to the website. I am planning on bringing a product here to the US
from Colombia, but I dont have any money to buy the product myself and sell it at a higher price so I thought of maybe setting a meeting between the two,
the supermarket to which I will like to sell the product to and the maker of the product, and sort of become the "middleman". I need advice on the steps I should take to get this going.

    Hey, what you are talking about is becomming an import/export agent. BUT be very careful to introduce the supermarket to the producer.
    If the supermarket likes the product and know the dealer, what use do the have for you?

    If I were you, I would contact the producer and tell him there is someone in the US interested i buying their product, please send some samples. And then go to the supermarket with the sample, and do not reviel your source. Not until you have an agency contract however.
