August - Walking the path, one step at a time

Ok, time to start writing a bit.
My plan for August is to write an app that I saw a need for. It's a project management system but geared towards managing production of websites and apps (there goes my precious idea, boo hoo...I want yall to sign NDA's)
The existing systems seem to me like they just complicate things and that people are not too eager to have to sign up for one more thing, and then learn how it works. So usually collaboration falls back to cc'd emails. And this is a pain too for multiple reasons.
Anyone else experienced this? Would you care for an easy and cool solution, with nothing new to learn?
If there are features you'd like to see in such an app let me know.
So I plan to have a good part of it done by the end of August (note: programmer's estimations should always be multiplied by any factor between 2-5, just so you know when hiring one. And the fact that I have 8h slowlane obligations + many other doesn't make it easy.)
If any of known forum members needs such an app and would like to take it for a test drive once it's done, let me know.
Besides the app, there are other goals I must achieve, so how I went about this is write down a list of August goals.
But then I divided these goals (events) into daily steps (process) so now I'm taking it one step at a time, one day a time. I make daily plan, and only care to check off all the things on the todo list, just plowing through it, looking at each day's tasks as the only goal.
So for this first 4 days it went very well, but I also had a reality check of always overambitious plans - and adjusted the schedule accordingly, to make it feasible.
This is just a part, too much on my plate, so August will be the month of plowing.
PS. I didn't research this need too extensively, but I really need this app, for myself, and believe others would like it too.
So as a programmer I'll grant myself such wish. At best it will take off, at worst I'll sharpen my skills further, and hopefully get rid of sifting through 100s of emails with same subject name
PPS. This seems like so easy time to give up, a ton of excuses comes to my mind to just give it up, really realistic, convenient excuses. So easy to give up. So if you miss your nice little comfort zone...you're not the only one my friend, so STFU and plow on! Let's make it
I get knocked down, but I get up again
You're never gonna keep me down
