Well, since posting my first blog entry I've been a busy little business man!

I've spent the last few days figuring out and researching my target market and trying to find an edge. Before hearing about the competition, I was inspired by Amail & Vigilante for their efforts with Importing goods and their experiences so far, I even started investigating overseas suppliers.

Hearing about the Official Fast Lane Competition, and putting my other business venture on hold (), I decided to get off my arse and do something about getting myself into gear and onto the fastlane.

I approached a couple of suppliers (both middle men at the moment, but their prices are reasonable) for my product and have finally placed MY FIRST EVER IMPORT ORDER to the UK!! I can't actually describe how great it feels to have made some bloody progress for once! Even though its only a small sample order (~USD$ 160) of some of their different products for testing, its the first big step of commitment to business I've taken in a very long time.

I'd just like to quickly say thank you to Vigilante and Amail for opening my eyes to how easy it is to get the proverbial import ball rolling. Cheers guys, its going to be my first step to fastlane profits. If it doesn't work out, then at least I'd have learnt by doing it rather than just reading books & blogs and taking people's word for it!

Now, whilst I wait for payments to clear & shipping to arrive from Hong Kong, its time to get my act together and ready my test rig, come up with some eBay listings and put the training wheels on my new company.
