Portable Dynamic Planning - Using the tickler file idea weekly

This is working for me.

Someone suggested a tickler file. The only issue with that is that it's not portable. Unless it's digital.

I don't really like digital planners because I end up never checking them and forgetting about them. They've just never worked for me. And atm I don't have an phone or android so it can't sync my google planner with it. It's a cheap metro phone that looks like a blackberry but has the functionality of one of those old Nokia phones + a camera.

Anyways... this is my little useful thing.

I have a tiny 4.5 by 3.25 inch marble notebook where I write down my entire list of things to do for the week on the first few pages. Then directly after that I write out the day I will carry out 2-3 of those list items depending on how long it would take me and how much time I have.

Then throughout the week I pull out my little notebook and check out my 2-3 things to do for the day and just focus on those things.

If I can't make it around some items I just erase the item I couldn't do and move it down to the day that has the most time.

I've never liked agendas because they're usually not pocket sized. I just need a page for a list at the start of every week and each day to have enough room for only 5 list items maximum.

I can dynamically adjust accordingly to my needs with these tiny marble notebooks and carry it in my pocket.

It takes advantage of the 'small chucking' concept, keeps the days focused on only a few things, and allows me to capture everything that needs to be done so I don't have to remember and yet still get everything done. It's also adjustable as long as I use a pencil.
