One is salesy attention the other not so much so. When the person calls you ask what the code is.

Or on your landing page you ask what it was.

Maybe on the card say something like enter your code to see how much of a discount you can get.

My cards don't have any code or any REAL marketing lingo other than "List your business for FREE!" and some short info about the site and a URL, but when I print off some more here in a couple of months I will definitely add some sort of code or prize or something!! Thanks for the idea Patrick

uggg I am going to get to be known as the Idea guy of FLF, like George on Friends. He would always come up with ideas but never actually produce anything of value lol

Well no results yet. Just saying, however my service is something that many people sit on for a while.

I am gonna hit the businesses I hit last night once a month. Gonna try the marketing lingo tonite.

Ok, all the server problems are cleared up, the hosting service said it was a DDOS from china but I call bs on that one, anyways, now that the site is up and running normally again, it's 9:00 here and just got dark, time to go put my name on every businesses front door within 20 miles oh here Wish me luck!!!!

I wish i could live long enough to do that in houston haha.

Going out tonight, got 300 more in color with some good sales stuff. I saricrificed a little size for a color ad that looks nicer. Got 6 to a page of cardstock now.

The realtor girlfriend was home today and she wanted to cut them out... Haha she is extremely meticulous so they look great.

One customer could finance months of this kind of advertising.

Any results so far, I have gone out a couple times but came down with a cold 2 days ago and have a 102 fever, so far results have been limited for me, maybe I need to re-design my cards

Nothing yet for me, but it will happen. Ive only gone once.

Its almost free and it gets my company's name out there. Remember im basically selling money. If they believe me, I can deliver. Every business I put this ad on needs electricity and wants to save money.

Complete side note: I think HR biz might be dead, it was never a big money idea and only has the possibility of bringing in a couple hundred bucks, google maps is still the default for people and it will stay that way (I knew this when I made it), anyways, with it not making anything near substantial, I think my time is better spent bootstrapping and working on the real fastlane ideas! Hell I made more money in a week of bootstrapping than HR.biz has ever made haha! Well, I learned a TON from it, I would do it again if I needed to learn WP and some basic business, sure beats any high school class I've been in as far as education and I don't regret it a bit!

Glad to hear. I just got back, I had a customer sign up in the area I was prospecting while I was out LOL.

We will see tomorrow if they pass credit, the markup is big and it is a laundrymat so could be a worth a lease on a small car if I wanted one.

On another note, I found $40 on the ground in the parking lot while I was out as well.

Overall a good night. Im just glad I have a carry license. I wouldn't want to do this without being armed. Im going to go lift weights for a while and wind down.
