I have an idea for a website and am gathering information for what I need/need to look out for.
This is mostly an experiment. I am planning to monetize mainly through ads and affiliate links (for now).
Does anyone have experience with this? What are my options/requirements? Do I need to register somewhere? Is there anything similar to an LLC in Canada?
If you have gone this road: What were your first steps?

PS: I am not a Canadian citizen, but have an open work permit.
